The name dandelion is derived from the French dent de lion, or lion's tooth. Dandelion root is an herbaceous perennial native to Europe and Asia, but is able to thrive anywhere that is temperate. The flower is home to the seedhead, which can hold as many as 200 seeds! It then spreads its wispy seeds on the wind. Starwest Botanicals Dandelion Seed is incredibly versatile; it can be ground, cut, roasted, powdered, etc. Resealable one pound bag.
